WAA-TAA Challenge

I was contacted by Christine @ LetWaterBeWater to participate in the Summer Challenge. It is to challenge children to drink more water instead of the sugary sodas and juices. So I figured that since I do daycare care in my home this would be a great challenge. So here is what I did:

When my bottles of WAA-TAA arrived I immediately put them in the fridge to get cold for a day or so. Then I told the kiddos we were going to have a taste test. I poured a bit from each of the different colored labels (all the water is the same) into small glasses, lined them up and the tasting began. It was really funny but each of the four kiddos chose a different glass that they thought tasted better. So I gave each one of them a sticker that matched the color of label that they chose.

After about an hour it was snack time and I asked the kiddos what they wanted to drink with the snack and they asked if they could have some more of that good water. I tried not to laugh but of course I said yes and gave each of them their own bottle. Boy were they happy.

Along with the bottles of WAA-TAA I received some stickers and tattoos for each of them. I think that made them like it even more. They were very excited to show their parents their bottles of water that they had gotten.

I also tasted the water and I would have to say it was very good. I love to drink ice water and fortunately my daycare kiddos drink a lot of water when we are playing outside.

You may already be familiar with "The WAT-AAH! Challenge." During the months of March and April, our spunky little brand convinced 9 out of 10 kids (1,072) from all over the country to choose water over the sugary sodas and juices. Mom bloggers, families, and school teachers posted their results via video clips and photographs on http://wat-aahchallenge.blogspot.com.
