May She Rest In Peace!!

Tonight is a sad time for my Hubby's family (and me also). You see, my MIL (and AuntRene's mom) lost her battle with cancer. She was at home where she wanted to be. I know that she is no longer suffering but my Hubby and his brother and sisters no longer have a parent living that they can turn to when they need to talk, to vent or to share the family holiday's with. My Hubby is having issues with this and I expect that, I just don't know what to say to him because both of my parents are still living. We all understand that she is suffering no more which is the best thing but no matter how much you think you prepare yourself it still breaks your heart when it happens.

RIP Nancy!!
You will missed by all!!

  3. I am very sorry for your loss. It is very difficult not to have your parents. I too lost my father last year and it is just so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  4. Hi Tammy! My condolences on the loss of your hubby's mom. I lost mine 41 years ago, but it seems like yesterday. I still talk to her a lot though. Just because I can't touch her doesn't mean she can't hear me, and you know, on some level, I believe when I talk to her about certain things, she helps me through them. Y'all will see her again, so think ahead. I enjoyed your articles. I lost my precious "Taffy" Part poodle and Part Lhasa Apso, after 17 years. We have no children, so she was our baby. She's buried in our back yard so we keep her close, (in a manner of speaking). Well, I didn't mean to write a book, it's just that your articles touched my heart. Hope to continue this bond.
