Pork Be Inspired Gets Two Thumbs Up At My House!!

Have I said lately how much I love being a BzzAgent and sharing my thoughts about products with all my readers? Well in case you have missed it, I love it! I love trying the products that they permit me to apart of the campaigns of. And I love sharing my thoughts on said products. I share my thoughts with you readers, my friends and my family, and trust me I share the positive and negative thoughts both. Not all my reviews have been positive.

Now, on to this Kroger, Pork Be Inspired campaign. This is a very positive review. My thoughts are positive on this one on all aspects! My hubby is not much of a pork eater (he says it is like chicken and he does not care for that either). Any how, I used my coupon for $5.00 off from the campaign to get some thin center cut pork chops to fix for dinner last night, which is one of my favorite cuts of pork besides BBQ ribs and they didn't have any of those or course. Then I went through some recipes from Pork Be inspired on Pinterest and chose to fix two different kinds of chops. I chose the Americas Favorite Pork Chops (right) and the Paprika Pork Chops (left).

I have to admit that I loved the Paprika pork chops and my husband liked them both but he preferred the American's Favorite Pork Chop better. You can find the recipes to both of these pork chops by clicking on the recipe titles above my picture.

And just a little knowledge for you all:

Don't overcook your pork!

Both the USDA and the National Pork Board recommend using a digital cooking thermometer to get an accurate internal temperature reading for your pork. While 145° F (with a three-minute rest time) is where you want to be for chops, tenderloin and roasts, ground pork should always be cooked to 160° F and pre-cooked ham can be reheated to 140° F.

  1. Sounds good. Will have to check out the pinterest link. I stink at pork except for sausage or a roast in the crockpot.
