100th post GIVEAWAY... CONTEST CLOSED

HERE IS MY 100th POST GIVEAWAY!!

I have tried to think of something that I should giveaway for my 100th post for a little while now and I just couldn't seem to come up with something that everyone could use. So I did a little thinking and thought I should just have it be one of my favorite things, so that's what I have done.

I learned about Lock & Lock from my Mother-In-Law, who loves QVC. She purchased her some from there when they first came out and at first she just told me about them and then finally I received some as a gift, which I absolutely love. And it definitely wasn't one of those gifts that you say you like, when you really don't. I love these products. They seal tight and they do not leak. I used to pack things for my Hubby to eat when he was out on the road driving the semi and he would put the other containers in the cooler and they would get water in them and he would have to throw the food out. Well ever since my MIL got these, Lock & Lock's for us, I pack his food in them and no leaks. Not only do I love them, but so does he.

So I am giving away the following Lock & Lock containers:

5.1 cups square container

16.8 cups tall square container

6 piece set: 4.2 cups, 3.3 cups and 2.3 cups rectangle containers

6 piece lunch set: 3oz round, 6oz rectangle and 2.5 cups square containers

I am giving all of these away to one lucky winner.

How to win, you ask? It's very simple, all you have to do is tell me what state you live in. Isn't that simple enough? I thought is was, and so I am going to give you some chances for extra entries after you do this required one.

EXTRA ENTRIES:To receive these extra entries, you must do the REQUIRED entry first, and then leave a new comment for each entry. But, for extra entries you can:
  • Become one of my followers
  • Add my LoveMy2Dogs button to your site
  • Follow me on Twitter
  • Tweet about my giveaway, don't forget to leave the link
  • Blog about the contest - add a link to LoveMy2Dogs
  • If you PREVIOUSLY left me comment on my April 6th post (Should I have a giveaway?) you get one extra entry for that, let me know you were one of those six.

That makes 6 ways you could enter. If you do not follow the directions I will be forced by the giveaway fairy to delete your comment. Make sure to leave your email address in your comment if it is not on your profile.
Giveaway ends 10:00pm EST on May 3rd, I will choose a winner on Monday May 4th using Random.org. Residents of the good 'ole USA only. Good luck to everyone.

EVERY parent needs to see this video!!

Can you believe this??

I saw this over at A Couch With A View, and was so astonished that I had to put it up for everyone who missed it over there to see. I would have liked to have thought that some responsible adult would have stopped her and told her to knock off or knock her out. People these days, what is happening to the world? I certainly hope that is a form of child abuse.

T G I F

What a beautiful day it is here in Ohio. It's sunny and oh so warm, my weather widget is telling me that it is 81 degrees outside. The wind is blowing a bit, which makes is even nicer, not too hot, just right. I have all the windows open letting the air blow through the house to air it out from being closed up all winter.

I just love it when the kiddos parents forget to tell me that they do not have school today. I found out when they arrived at 3:45am. What a wonderful way to start my Friday. I am only supposed to have two kiddos on Fridays but oh no, not today, I have five of them. But you know what it is so nice out, they can go play outside, again. Even though this morning they came in all muddy but it will all come out in the wash. And if it don't oh well, it's no fun being a kid if you can't get all muddy.

I just finished cleaning carpets in the Living room, bathroom and hallway and I'm taking a break. The Hubby is outside mowing the yard for me, even though I enjoy doing that because it is actually time for me to clear my head, with no phone, kiddos, animals and I can do it however I feel at that time. If I want to stripe it, I can. If I want to mow it around and around and around, I can. Why? Because at that moment I am the boss and there really isn't any rules, EXCEPT don't roll the mower over on the hill. That would hurt and it's a big hill, and for those of you who know me, anything is possible. Actually, I am surprised I haven't done that yet. I have come close but it has never happened.
I am so happy that my email situation is fixed. I have really missed a lot of emails. Who knows how many giveaways that I won and never got the emails stating so. Oh well, I guess you could say it was all my fault for not reading everything before I clicked "YES" when I was blocking those junk and SPAM mail.
This is my 97th post, and I am going to be having a giveaway for my 100th post so make sure you come back and check it out.

My bleeding heart.

I choose the custom blog button, so make sure you grab it a put it on your site, you can find it over to the left on my sidebar.

Here is what is looks like. It's my precious Miss Sophie and Mr Shadow.

LoveMy2Dogs

I lost, that's all I can say.

Just to give you a piece of how my day has gone here in the land of the wild and crazy kiddos. It all started when those darn daycare boys did not want to get up this morning and get ready for school. I yelled and shook and yelled and shook, finally I said this is the last time I am telling you to get up and then I am going to go get my Hubby, and guess what? Yep, you guessed it they jumped right up and got dressed for school and never whined one bit. That makes it me 1, kiddos o.
I fixed the kiddos some lunch and they loved it. They had baked chicken legs, strawberries, corn, bread/butter and milk. A couple kiddos looked at me like I was feeding them aliens until they tried the chicken and they really liked it. That makes it me 2, kiddos 0.
Then it had looked like it was going to rain outside, better outside than inside. But I thank the good Lord for waiting for me to get outside clear to the end of the driveway with a kiddo, waiting for the Headstart bus, for it to start pouring like mad. Needless to say we got a little wet walking back up to the house so that we can stand on our old porch but under the new roof so we wouldn't get any wetter. As we stepped onto the porch is stopped raining. Yeah!! That makes it me 1, the good Lord 1 and kiddos 0.
After all that we read our books and then it was naptime and boy I sure did need it. :0) They all laid right down and went to sleep and slept like angels for over three hours. That makes it me 3, the good Lord 1 and kiddos 0.
The kiddos got up from naptime, I got diapers changed and got them their snacks for them to eat, which they did. T H E N it happened......I had to get one of the kiddos up from nap and that's when I found it. He has pooped in his diaper, if that's what you want to call it. I guess it's more like he pooped in his entire clothes while he was sitting in his chair eating snack. I swear it was from his neck to his toes. Have you ever tried to change a kiddo when it is clear up their back and clear down to their socks? I just love when that happens. I finally gave up and put him in my bathtub, and showered him off. That makes it me 3, the good Lord 10 and kiddos 1000. I would have to say I lost.
Don't forget to go to Sundays post and let me know if you think I should have a giveaway for my 100th post, or not.

More HP Issues and Rain

Today has been a dreary day in Ohio! It has rained and rained. The kiddos took a three hour nap, so I laid down and took one with them, not three hours but for about an hour:) And no I did not take a nap without someone else awake, my Hubby and daughter were here and they were awake in the other room, so that's okay.

If you read my post about my HP printer (if not go here to read it) you will realize that I am not liking it very well. I gave everyone here instructions that if after all that and it didn't work they were to just unhook it, take it outside and run over it with their car. Well, guess what happened when I tried to use it yesterday?? You guessed it, it DID NOT work and, excuse my language but I was PISSED OFF. I just couldn't bring myself to just run over it with the Trailblazer because I can't stand it when something gets the best of me. Soooooooo, I did some research and found out that my CA Security Suite from Roadrunner is so tight that it will not allow it through my firewall. If I turn my firewall off it will work just fine. Well what good is having a firewall if you have to disable it. If it's not one thing it's another, so I will make a phone call to Time Warner tonight to try to fix it, so it will allow it through. Please Lord, let me talk to a real English speaking person and not a foreigner. I absolutely hate taking to someone that I can not understand.

Well I am off to order some pizza from Rolling Dough for supper. And, then I have to figure out what I am going to use for Wordless Wednesday tomorrow.

I received an awesome giveaway prize in the mail today.
Well, I actually received two awesome giveaway prizes in the mail today. The mailman R.C. said that I hit the jackpot today! He should have looked through my letters because there were four bills in there and that is NOT a jackpot. But, that's okay because my prizes made me happy enough to not care for a while. I took you all some pictures of them so you can see what has made me so happy (I know Aunt Rene, it's not a Queen B Bumble Ride stroller but they are still awesome).

I won this personalized Market Tote from Memento over at Seeryus Mama, and I love it. I won this Fiber One gift pack from The Mud Bug, which I can't wait to enjoy.
I won this $50 Energizer Prize pack over at Funky Monkey, and they will come in handy.
I won this Sonny the Guard Dog from The Shrunks and I can't remember the blog site (I"M SORRY!)
Here all some of my winnings.

I have also won:
Cactus Ring from Sheena's Jewelry over at A Give Away A Day, which I wear every day,
3 CD Baby Music set from Spring Fling over at In A Mind of A Thirtysomething Mom, which are in my car right now. I forgot to take pictures of these two item, sorry.

We won't discuss the thing I have won but never received and can't get any response from the blogs owner where I won. You can view this site at the top of my posts.

Happy Easter & HP is not my friend...

HAPPY EASTER!!
Oh, let me tell you all how my Easter started....
It started at 11:00pm Saturday night when I decided that I would try to get my printer that I just had HP replace because I said it was not working right. Even though they kept telling me it was fine, it was just the way I had it hooked up. I hooked it up just like the book told me. Did you all know that wireless printers are not very compatible with wireless routers unless it goes through your wireless router. I thought the whole purpose of getting a "WIRELESS" printer was so that I could print from anywhere in the house. Well come to find out if you have both a wireless router and wireless printer you should always run you printer through your router so that your router doesn't keep changing the IP address of your printer.

Anyway I started this process at 11:00pm, why I am not sure other than I was home alone and I guess bored and wanted to put myself though hours of talking with foreigners, who I can not understand, and missing my sleep time. But anyway like a fool I decided what the heck, it has to be done sometime and nobody else in this house will put up with the foreign language for more than 10 minutes so, no better time than the present. Well FIVE hours, lets count them...ONE...TWO...THREE...FOUR...FIVE...that's right FIVE hours later I had the desktop and my laptop compatible with the printer and printing!! This makes it 4:00 in the morning, and I am getting my second wind. So I figure what the heck, I might as well do the other two laptops. So while I am doing the uninstall and reinstall of everything I am running around picking up dog toys and straightening pillows on the couch and folding laundry. That's right between 4:00am and 5:30am I am fixing two laptops and cleaning house. And praying that it will all work right. And....thank goodness it did. So at 5:30 this morning, six and a half hours later, I crawl into bed and boy did it ever feel good.

At this point I was so tired I was silly. I knew it would be time for my Aunt J to be getting close to work so I almost texted her this:

"Good morning to you!"
My house is a zoo.
For me it's good night
but now my computer prints right.
I talked to HP so long,
my phone battery is gone.

That when I realized how silly and tired I erased the text and went to bed.

I did hit the SITS roll call in the top five during all that mess.

Have you ever had one of those days where...

...you just feel like you need to just throw in the towel? Oh, I am having one of those days today. I call this a dumpy day for me. Basically it's a feel sorry for myself kind of day.

I feel I am just getting nowhere. I work and work and never seem to get anywhere. I understand that my Hubby is laid off right now but I had high expectations that he would be back to work by April 1st. Wasn't that an April Fool's joke. He is laid of temporarily and they said it should have been just 60 to 90 days, well that has came and went. We are in need of some things that we can not have until he goes back to work and we have more money coming in, and it is driving me nuts I am not used to that. I also had some hope that he would pick up some of the household chores since he wasn't working but that has not happened either which upset me, but what am I to do? I love my Hubby to death and I understand that him not working is not his fault.
For those of you who don't know, I am a home daycare provider, and I am watching someones else's kids anywhere from 86 to 95 hours per week. I have extremely long days Monday thru Friday and a shorter day on Saturday. I love my daycare kids to death. I am not sure what I would ever do without them. They are really great but, it just wears me out. I guess I just need a vacation.
My hubby and daughter have now decided that I am worse than a teenager on myspace. I am not quite sure that I agree with them. I still get the meals, take out the trash, do the laundry, do my job, buy the groceries, clean the house, visit the grandparents on Sunday and answer the phone when nobody else wants to. And sometimes I don't do that either. I don't see a teenager doing all that and spending time on the Internet. As a matter of fact I don't much see my Hubby doing all that either:) He would do it if I asked, I am sure but I just don't want to have to ask. I would rather just do it myself.
You know after reviewing the last two paragraphs I think that I have a right to feel the way I do today. I think I deserve to have a dumpy day. I just realized that maybe I am exhausted. I think that I am right.
Exhausted =
ex·haust (ĭg-zôst') v. ex·haust·ed , ex·haust·ing , ex·hausts v. tr.
1. To wear out completely.
2. To drain of resources or properties.
3. To use up completely.
4. To treat completely.
5. To draw out the contents of.
6. To let out or draw off.
Sorry for being such a whiner today but I needed it.

TGIF

Today is a fantastic Friday....except for the cool weather and the rain. I only have three kiddos today but it is still an 18 hour day but that is okay, no kiddos under 4 YEAH!!!! We have been busy, we made three batches of No Bake Cookies for our Relay 4 Life bake sale tomorrow. Unfortunately I am only sending two batches....kinda over boiled the last batch and they are kinda dry. Hubby will be happy because they are his favorite cookies.

The girls and I are skipping the Friday night card game tonight, Aunt J has to be a work very very early tomorrow. She went and had her breast MRI today and has to wait until the 28th for the results because her Dr is on vacation. Not a good time for a vacation if you ask me. We are being very positive and praying for the best outcome, but I think she is probably really stressed out about it, I know I would be. They had to give her a Valium this morning for her to get that MRI, she doesn't like to have anything around her face and does not like small spaces or being strapped down, all of which was going to happen today. She was freaking out about it and of course we were having big fun with that:) We are a little mean sometimes.

Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!!

Monday Monday

Oh, what a crappy day we have here today. We have had rain, snow and I think some freezing rain. Yesterday was beautiful and today it's 30 degrees outside. So much for getting the rest of my porch and roof finished up. The shingles are completed but we have some siding to replace and finish work on the porch roof/ceiling. I can not wait to get the outside all cleaned up again.

I have been about today, entering some giveaways. Hopefully I will win something, again. I am still waiting for the arrival of my $50 worth of Energizer batteries, gift basket from Fiber One and my Hip Hop Baby DVD.

I will update you on where I won them all from when after I can restart my laptop because right now I can't open my email because it is telling me "Windows mail cannot be opened because another instance of it is still running on your computer" I feel like yelling, "If it were really running do you think I would try to open it again.!!"

Super Sunday.....

...then busy busy week to come. One of my schools is on Spring Break this coming week and that means that I will have 7 extra kids this week. It will be a long week at my house.
I had yesterday off so I switched things up a little and visited my Grandparents yesterday. My hubby went with me yesterday so that he could repair my Grandpa's broken recliner and visit them since he hasn't been there in a over a month. We ended up going to the bank and then to McDonald's for a coffee break. And leave it to me to leave my purse there on the floor under our table. Thank goodness that someone turned it in and never stole my cash that was in it, and man was McDonald's packed. I talked to them about some things I would like to have out of their house and I was told to go get it and they don't have to tell me twice. I have one of the things and hopefully the hubby can get one other thing today or tomorrow. Then I have to talk to them about some more stuff I would like to have. No one else wants to visit them except me, my Dad, Uncle and occasionally my brothers family. I have 3 cousins who live about an hour away and have only been to visit 3 times in over a year. Once was to get their visit in before Christmas and one was for Christmas and the other was last summer some time. I think that is sad.
A couple of funny things happened when we were over there. I hope they are as funny when I tell them as they were there, so here goes:
Grandpa was doing his regular complaining about some things and
Grandma says, "Some people complain about everything."
My Grandpa responds with, "Are you talking about me?"
And Grandma says, "Well, if the shoe fits, then put it on!"
I thought I was gonna fall out of my chair laughing.
Then a little later Grandpa comes up with, "You know a lot of people who live here don't know if it's yesterday, today or tomorrow."
Grandma, who we thought was sleeping, pops up with a, "Are you talking about your wife?"
Another time that I thought I was going to fall out of my chair laughing.
A really close friend of my Grandparents was buried last Friday and they went to the calling hours on Thursday and they kept talking about how they were going to miss him, which I am sure they will, and how he was only 82 and my Grandparents are 89 and 91. My grandpa comes up with this: "You know, at this rate, I won't have any of my friends at my funeral because they all keep dying." "There won't be anybody there!" I had to assure that the family will be there, but he said that's not the same. My hubby decided that Grandpa was only concerned with how many of friends will be there and when you are 92 the chances are pretty slim that you will have a lot of friends there.
Needless to say it is never dull when you go over there for a visit.

Small Talk Six: Worst Lies You Ever Told

Today’s topic is “6 of the worst lies you’ve ever told.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .

To participate in this you can go to Momdot.

Oh, this is a difficult one.....but here goes.

1. I have called work and told them I was too sick to work. I don't do that now because it wouldn't be worth it when I have to call about 6 parents and explain to all of them that I was sick when I really wasn't.

2. I have told someone that I loved their "new" hairdo, when actually I didn't like it at all.

3. I have told someone that I like the gift they gave me when actually I hated it and returned it for something else. Sorry Mom!

4.I once told our daughter that her cat must have run away when it really got crushed under the garage door.

5. I have said "I already mailed you the payment" when in reality I forgot to put it in the mailbox.

6. Last but not least, Thank goodness. I have told a parent that I had no problems with their kids that day even though I did. I just don't like being negative with them if it's nothing truly important.
