Have you checked out the new Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Cleaner?
Let me just start by saying that it is my new favorite cleaner! It has done more for me in the past two weeks than my past cleaner with bleach has done is my goodness, who knows how long. I was actually embarrassed the first time I used the Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Cleaner to clean off the daycare room table.
Like I said, I have always used a spay cleaner that has bleach in it thinking that I was doing the right thing and getting things clean and killing any bacteria. Ha, well that is pretty funny now but the first day I sprayed the Lysol P&F MPC on the table and wiped it off and saw the filthy nastiness on the paper towel, I was horrified. I could not believe it. I wish I would have even thought to have taken a picture of the towel. You all would have not believed me anyway. It was disgusting.
Anyway, I have moved on and started using the P&F Multi-Purpose Cleaner on other things like some Step2 chairs that I clean regularly with that same cleaner and usually every other summer I take outside and use the pressure washer on but not this year! Check out these pictures.
One of them has had dry erase marker on it for two years now because I had tried everything to get it off and it wasn't budging off that plastic. I got that marker off everything else except that chair but once again this cleaner took it right off. All I did was spray the cleaner on it, let it set for about thirty seconds then wipe the marker off. Easy peasy. The next thing I knew, that chair was completely cleaned and I was working on to the next one.
Eww, is what I thought when I sprayed part of this chair leg and then wiped it off. I didn't realize that they were this nasty. You would have thought that I never cleaned the darned things or that they were outside. Man, and because that other spray had bleach in it, I had to use a special rag because it would bleach the color right out of my rag. Well that must be all it is good for.
Now, if you can't tell by the name of my blog, I have two dogs. One of them is a 12 year old Lab/Newfoundland mix named Shadow. He is what we call our car payment. He is our beloved Shadow and we love him to pieces and bless is heart but he is diabetic, had a thyroid condition, bad arthritis and now has more fatty deposits on his chest and the vet has decided to not remove them because of him being severe diabetic and with the problems we had with him last time he had them removed. Well one of them had ruptured open and it has started seeping. Now thank goodness for hardwood floors, right? Well, when I noticed that it was seeping I went and grabbed this cleaner and sprayed it on the floor to clean up the spot and was amazed when it started bubbling up where the stuff had seeped out of his sore. Yuck right? Well it did this because Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Cleaner has hydrogen peroxide in it. Yep, that is what made it bubble.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Cleaner has worked so well for you and that you could step away from the bleach products, especially running a daycare and having two dogs.
