Super Stalker Sunday Blog Hop

Super Stalk Sunday

I am officially a Super Stalker today. Or at least I am going to be a Super BLOG Stalker anyway. This is such a great way to learn about new blogs out there because new and interesting blogs are popping up all the time, and I don't want to miss anything exciting so I am jumping aboard the stalker train and you can too.

Now I am going to do some cheating and some copy and pasting:
What is Super Stalker Sunday?

Glad you asked! Super Stalker Sunday is a weekly blog hop hosted by
Mariah of Formula Mom
and Emily of Naptime is My Time
Blogs hops are a great way to meet other bloggers, socialize and gain more followers. Do you like to socialize? Well, we all like followers, right?!

If you've been around the blogosphere you know there are Blog Hop's for everything you can think of and every day of the week: RSS Feed, Google Friend Connect, Email Readers, Facebook Fans, and Twitter Followers.

Well, why not get all of your followers in one place once a week? This is the place to do just that!

How to Super Stalk

-Follow each host at least one way. Don't forget to let them know you did so by commenting on their blog. We will return all follows, but please be patient as we are busy mama's it may take us a few days to return the visit and follow.

You will only have to link up on one of the host sites and your link will appear on all as we use the same linky.

-After you follow the hosts, follow as many bloggers in as many ways as you are willing!

Already follow somebody? Consider visiting and following them in another way as well!

Remember: You will only get as much as you give. The more blogs you can visit, the more visits you will gain in return. We are all here to socialize and greet, not visit only your blog.

While we encourage sharing our button and hop with as many as possible, it is not required. The more you spread the word though, the more we socialize and all gain followers!

This week's featured blogger is

Dnbusters Place
Dnbuster's Place
We took this opportunity to ask Dnbuster a few questions and here are her answers:

-What's your favorite way to stalk a blog?
My favorite way to stalk a blog is to follow the blog via google freind connect, twitter and facebook so that I dont miss any of their posts.

-You have an extra hour added to your day, what would you do with it?
I recently got cable TV so I have been VODing Toddlers and Tiaras, Dog The bounty hunter, Touched by an Angel and CSI Miami.

Is there a TV show that you have watched every episode?
At this time I am reading The Medium Next door by Maureen Hancock.

-What book is currently on your nightstand?
NIV Bible

-Pick a post, any post.
I like to share that there is an income to be made online ~ I posted about the sites you can earn a few dollars a month at. In June 2011 I had my best month EVER earning online. I earned almost $1,000!

If you would like to be a featured blogger, being shared with more than 4,000 combined followers between the hosts of this hop, please link up! At the end of each week we will select a blog via Random.Org to be the featured blog for the following week.
This linky will go live Saturday at 7:00 PM PST and end Monday at 12:00 PM PST.

If you would like to also place this linky on your blog, please feel free to write up your own post and grab the code here.
Thank you for participating, now let's go "stalk" up a storm!

Stealing and Honesty all in one wack? That is all apart of Sunday Stealing!

Well, I am at it again. Stealing meme's. Stealing and honesty? That just doesn't go together at all.

Today we ripped off a blogger named Myne Whitman from the blog of Myne Whitman Writes. She states the she got tagged thanks to Sting, the Nigerian Scorpio, for "tagging me in this free therapy". But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Sunday Stealing: The Honesty Meme

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Complete the Sentences:
Right now I'm feeling...exhausted.

When I'm alone I feel...cranking the stereo and cleaning house.

When I'm surrounded by people I feel...good unless it's people I don't like.

One thing I hate is...people who think they are invincible.

One thing I really like about myself is ...not knowing the answer to this question.

When I'm feeling sad I...just want to go to bed and sleep.

When I daydream it's usually about...trying to figure out how to get everything done.

I'm afraid of...snakes and well lets just stop there.

I'm happiest when...I am with my Hubby.

One thing that really worries me is ...anymore it seems like everything.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be...my weight. lol

If I could be with anyone right now I would be with...my Hubby and daughter.

The family member I am closest to is...besides my Hubby who is my best friend I would have to say my Aunt Judy.

If I was really honest with my father I would tell him...he needs to be nicer to my mom and try to do more things for her.

One thing I regret about my life is ...nothing because if I would regret it then that means that I wish I would not have done it and then if I didn't I may not be where I am today and I love where I am today.

If I only had one more day to live I would...spend it with the ones I love the most.

If I was really honest with my mother i would tell her...be nicer to my dad and try to do more things for him. See a pattern here? lol

One thing about me that nobody knows is...something you still won't know.

I hope that someday in the future...I win the lottery. hahahaha!

When I think about my family I feel...oh, let's not go there! That is a whole nuther subject.

Something I'm really embarrassed about is...who said I have gray hair??

One thing about me I never want to change is...my best friend.

One thing I feel really proud of is...I have a successful family and business.

Blogsville has helped me to...gain friends across the USA, win new products and learn all sorts of interesting things.

One thing I like about blogsville is...meetingwonderfulmomsandwinningproducts.

My thoughts on Jaycee Dugard

Image via TV by the Numbers/ABC Primetime

I know that a lot of people were glued to their televisions to watch Diane Sawyer's interview with Jaycee Dugard and we were one that DVR'd it and watched it later. I can not decide if she in fact is that strong of a person or puts on a great front. I do in fact know that she is a great survivor and a great hero to her children. She must have a wonderful relationship with God because I would have so much hate for the "man" that did all those horrible things to her. I would probably want to hunt him down and well.................. Her strength is amazing to me. She is an amazingly strong woman and I hope that her children have her strength.

I can and can not believe all the probation officers and sheriff officers that went into that "home" and never did their job. They never searched the property. They talk about parents not doing their jobs to protect children from child predators but when you can not depend on law enforcement to do their jobs it is even worse. And it was not just the county officers it was Federal officers also. Maybe it is time to retrain some of these officers to do their jobs.

Even after a 911 call reported children living in a tent on the back of the property it was never investigated. What the heck?? I hope that there were some people who lost their jobs over this and if they were already retired I hope that they in fact lost some retirement. As for that Sheriff that never talked to the deputy after he went to that house that Jaycee was being held captive in after the 911 call that reported children living in the tent. What kind of Sheriff is he? A deligator? I would certainly think that if a 911 call comes in on a convicted felon with a criminal history like his that the Sheriff would make sure that things were handled properly. The crazy thing......he is still a sheriff!

And the state settlement of $20,000,000 is a laugh in the face if you ask me. I think that her and her children should be getting way more than than that. I think that law enforcement let her down in so many ways. They owe her mother, her and her children so much more than that.

I feel that Jaycee Dugard is a true hero. If you missed the primetime special you find more info about it at:

A Stolen Life

I just ordered Jaycee Dugard's book A Stolen Life for my Kindle for $11.99 or you can by a hardback for $13.74 from Amazon.com. I now can not wait to finish the book I just started today so that I can read it.

PLEASE Don't Lie To Kids Who Kringe At Thunder and Lightning

I have never been one to be afraid of thunderstorms or lightning unless it the wind gets so bad that you could not see off the porch and then it gets a bit scary but I don't freak out or anything. When our daughter was growing up we tried to teach her not to be afraid either and we always tried to explain things to her as best we could.

This is not my video.
video by

But in doing home daycare I have heard it all. Some of my daycare kiddos just freak out when it storms. I have everything from them telling me to shut the blinds to them saying that we have to all stop what we are doing and sit on the floor in the middle of the room and be quiet to one saying that we don't have tornado's in Ohio because a long time ago everyone was nice to the gypsies so they won't allow tornado's here. And oh, heaven forbid the electric go out as it did on Monday. I had screeches galore.

We always explained the electric going out to our daughter like a lamp being unplugged. The wind would blow and unplug our house from the electric poles somewhere and we would have to wait for the electric company to come and fix it. We would even show her what we were talking about by plugging in a lamp and grabbing the cord and swaying it back and forth the the wind would if it were blowing. It would work out really great for us when the lamp would just flash of and then back on. We would even take her outside and show her where the wires come out of our house. After we did that, it seemed to calm her down. I have done this with my daycare kiddos a few times and has really helped them out. I just wish the parents would back me up on this one and give up on the "God is up there bowling again" theory.

So, before you give your kids some crazy story about thunderstorms and lightning think about where they may be someday when they happen. Kids sometimes don't realize it but they have to tact and don't mean to upset smaller kids but it does happen, trust me. I had some laugh the other day when the little Miss came up with the "We can't have tornado's here because a long time ago everyone was nice to the gypsies so they won't allow tornado's here." I am not fond of being the middle man and having to come up with explanations without lying.

But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Galanz Stainless Steel Microwave Oven & M2Cmart Review

Have you ever had one of those days that just never goes right? I seem to have a lot of them. Sometimes more that I feel that I deserve. One of those days was the day that I was making seven mini bags of popcorn in the microwave for all the kiddos. Yes, I said seven bags. Six bags for the kiddos and one bag for myself. And halfway through all those bags is when it happened.................the "open" button on my microwave broke. Ugg! That is how my luck is sometimes. But lucky for the kiddos, I could still get the door open and finish microwaving all the bags of popcorn. The poor microwave that I had was 16 years old and let me tell you it has thawed out a lot of food and reheated it's fair share of it too. Here is what I had:

Now, lucky for me that over on Facebook M2Cmart was having a contest to win a microwave so I entered. I needed a new one so I figured what the heck. Well I got my new microwave and I am in love with it. It is a little smaller than the one I had before but you know what that means? I have more counter space! And as long as my plates fit it in I am good. I think that the only thing that I use the microwave for that will not fit in this new one is the On-cor family size frozen dinners. But hey, the counter space is well worth it. So here is what I have now, the Galanz 0.7 cu. ft. 700W Stainless Steel Counter-top Microwave Oven with 6 Auto Cooking/One Touch Menu.

Bed bugs and plastic in the coffee is NOT for me!

Well we went on vacation to the outskirts of Washington DC to Fort Washington, Maryland for one of my family reunions. Everything started out really great until we went over to check into our hotel. We got all checked in and before anything was carried into our room I told hubby that I must go see what it is like and here is what I found between the mattress pad and sheets:

One single freaking bed bug!! One is enough for me! When I first flipped up the sheets I was so excited to see plastic over the mattresses and then I got to thinking, what if.....? So I started looking on top of the mattress pad/under the sheets and on the first bed I found what looked like little pieces of dirt then I moved on to the second bed and about crapped my pants. I was not happy at all, grossed out is what I was. So I went down and told them about it and took them back to the room to show them and they have hubby another room on another floor. Needless to say that when I went to that room, I tore it up. I searched between each and every layer and looked more than once and found absolutely nothing, thank goodness.

Another thing that happened at this hotel is that one morning hubby and I went down for the free continental breakfast and I was watching the lady make coffee and watched her rip the top of the bag of coffee grounds and dump the grounds into the filter then put the part she ripped off into the grounds and I thought, no she did not. And then I watched her to it to a second bag and I couldn't believe it. I wanted so bad to go complain but I was not drinking the coffee and I really wanted to have all my belongings when I left the hotel so I kept my mouth shut but I am going to contact the hotel chain with all this fabulous information.

I know that I will not be staying at that hotel in Oxon Hill anymore. What a great way to start a vacation! NOT!
