This is the flag I am flying today at my house. Hubby bought it for me a few years ago.
As I got up this morning and was changing my flag, I started crying as I was remembering that horrible day. I was doing daycare when of the daycare parents called me from work and told me to go in the other room and turn on the TV. I immediately called my Hubby at work bawling my eyes out. I cried off and on for a few days trying to imagine what those people and their families were going through. I was watching it all live when the second plane hit and honestly I about threw-up. I was horrified and speechless. I will someday get to New York to see where the Twin Towers once stood and when I visit, I will already have them tattooed on my shoulder. Hubby and I have visited where Flight 93 went down and yes, I cried my eyes out there also.
Take the time today to say a prayer or two for the families of those who lost their lives on this day. I would like to say thanks to all the Firefighters, Police Officers, Hospital workers, Military personnel, and everyone who helped during this whole ordeal. You are truely HERO's!!
