Wordless Wednesday: New Years Eve with the Grandparents

This is sorta a Wordfull Wednesday instead. My dad's parents live in an Assisted Living Facility and they have a New Years Eve party for the residents every year from 5pm to 8pm (when the ball drops, lol) and this year, my grandparents invited us over to join them. I never to get over to see them as much as I would like to, so we decided to go over with them, and we are very glad we did because we enjoyed it. These pictures are from dinner.

This is my grandparents in the front, Hubby and I off to the right and my grandpa's niece and her hubby to the left.

The appetizer with the biggest shrimp I have ever seen.

Iceberg salad w/almonds, dried cranberries and yogurt.

Yep, filet mignon!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

  7. Love fancy dinners & I love your grandparents. They're so cute & what a good granddaughter you are for including them in the festivities. Give them a hug for me. Wish mine were still around to do that with.
