Knot Genie Guest Review & #Giveaway Ends3/26

I am teaming up with some great bloggers to bring you this guest review and giveaway written and hosted by Powered by Mom! Make sure you hop over and visit her and enter her other giveaways after you are done here.

NO MORE FIGHTING AND COMPLAINING
Does this sound a like a familiar scene in your home?
Mom calls to daughter have you brushed your hair yet? No reply. Have you brushed your hair yet, thumping of feet on the floor above someone is running away as they don't want to have their hair brushed.
Hair brushing time with my daughter had become a time of fighting, crying and sometimes screaming from both my daughter Sian and myself. What a chore and painful both literally and figuratively speaking. Now I can't blame her for not wanting to have the pain that comes with trying to brush out those nasty knots but what's a mom to do leave them in, I think not at least not this mom.
When I was given the opportunity to test out the Knot Genie I jumped at the chance. The Knot Genie website has on their home page "Magically gets rid of knots. Not to mention Complaining", I thought to myself we'll see about that. Well I'm happy to say that statement is well deserved and true. Earlier this week our Knot Genie arrived and Sian and I opened the package together. The first thing she was happy about is that she got a purple one, her favorite color. Excellent we were already off to a good start so I told her go ahead and use your Knot Genie. As Sian started to brush her hair I realized as she said these words "Yeah it works good, doesn't hurt" that I had been holding my breath literally.
Sian has now been using the Knot Genie for an entire week and I'm happy to say it's working like a charm. She doesn't want to use any other brush and I'm happy that her hair is not a tangled mess all of the time because now we can get the knots out without the screams and tears.I also tried out the Knot Genie on my own hair which is quite long but unlike Sian's my hair doesn't knot that easily so I'm lucky that way. Regardless long hair has to be brushed and often and the Knot Genie meets with my approval.
What's the trick to the Knot Genie? If you go and check out the Knot Genie on their website they will happily share the secret with you. I'll give you a hint it has something to do with the teeth of the brush. You can also check out the episode of the Today Show from their site where the Knot Genie is highlighted. Having bought so many brushes and combs in the past for Sian I would happily pay the $19.99 (SRP) for the Knot Genie since I know it gets the job done without the tears.
